 Run Injury Free
We are on a mission together.  Some want to complete a marathon. Others want to exercise with an enthusiastic group. Whatever the reason, we are training together, with a goal of comlpleting a marathon or half-marathon during the fall of 2009.  Our injury-free program, based on a gradual, weekly increase in endurance and strength,  converts atheltes of all abilities into life-long runners.  One conerstone of our successfull program is alternating runnning with walking. This is a proven method for successful marathoning with the minimal chance of running injury

Ask your program director about his experiences.  He started out like many of you by training with the Galloway method and completing a full marathon six months later.  He has run for pleasure, guided newcomers through their first marathons, and both qualified and completed the Boston Marathon.  The Galloway run-walk method works for all distances and goals.  Give it a try - experience the change.
 
Welcome to our Galloway Running, Philly Website.  Our  group is running and training - staying healthy-having a blast.  If you are thinking about a challenge and running is part of it, then consider joining us for the 2009 training season.  We will be starting in late May and training for a Fall marathon.
 
This is the third year for this website and like the first, the Program Director and his helpers spend more time running than learning website development.  Have any ideas?  Send them along.  Maybe we will give you the password and you can have the pleasure of improving this venue yourself.

1.  MAY 4 Jeff Galloway will be at theRunning Place in Newtown Square for a meet-and-greet
 
2.  May 5 Jeff Galloway will be at Philadelphia Runner at 16th and Sansom from noon - 2:00pm for a meet-and greet
 
3. May 5 Jeff Galloway will be at Club La Maison in Strafford from 8:30 - 10:00am for a meet-and-greet, and to launch the Clubs first 5k training program, a 6-week training program which will start during the first week in June
 
3. May 9th 10:00-noon, 2009 Marathon training program kick-off at Lloyd Hall, come down and get your registration packets and learn about plans for this years marathon training program.
